How To Play

Gather round. Draw a card. Whatever dish the AI commands – you eat it. Refuse and face the punishment. No mercy, no returns.

1 Draw a card

Shuffle the deck. Every player draws — the AI has already decided your fate.

2 Eat the food

Your card names a dish. You must eat it — or prepare for the consequences.

3 Refuse & suffer

Decline the dish? Your bonus becomes your punishment — do the washing up.

The Full Game Flow

Follow these steps in order. The Fool does not negotiate. The card is law.

Gather your players

The Fool Chooses works with 2 to 8 players. Seat everyone around a table — ideally with food on the way or a kitchen ready. Decide who shuffles and deals first. That person is the Dealer for this round.

Shuffle and deal

The Dealer shuffles the full deck face down. Each player draws one card and holds it face down — do not look yet. When everyone has a card, the Dealer counts down from three. Everyone flips simultaneously. The AI has already chosen.

Read your card

Your card shows three things: the dish you must eat, the bonus you earn for eating it, and the punishment you face if you refuse. Take ten seconds. Bargaining is allowed. Trading cards is not.
